The planning of a Celebration of Life Ceremony is not an easy task when you are grieving the loss of a loved one.
Wanting to give them the best farewell possible that both reflects their life story and is perfectly suited to their character is achievable with a Professional Celebrant.
Every Celebration of Life Ceremony I create is delivered with warmth and a very personal approach. I take time to listen to stories, memories and anecdotes of family members and weave them into a memorable tribute that honours the life of your loved one.
I will arrange a meeting with you at your home where we will talk through any ideas you may have already - if meeting at your home is not suitable then we can meet at a nearby coffee shop or a location where you feel comfortable. I am happy to meet any family member or close friend that would like to contribute wishes to the ceremony.
It may be the case that you already know what you want, which is brilliant. You may already know that you would like to include religious content or a particular hymn. But also, it is fine if you need someone to guide you through the options. We can talk everything through, and I can give suggestions of music, poems, and readings. I will gather lots of information at our meeting in order to create a unique ceremony which will be perfect.
Rest assured you will be provided with the full written service in advance of the day, and I will check in with you that you are completely happy with the words spoken - so there will be no surprises.
During this difficult time it can seem like there are so many things to consider and organise - this can seem very overwhelming. My role is to help as much as possible and therefore I will liaise with your Funeral Director, and your Crematorium or Burial Site, on your behalf to ensure that everything is ready and your ceremony runs as smoothly as possible.
Please be kind to yourself at this time and reach out to those around you for support. With every decision you make, it will be the right one for you.
